As beauty professionals for over 20 years, we found ourselves constantly overwhelmed at the amount of information surrounding beauty all over the internet. And to be honest - more often than not - the information we found was confusing, intimidating and overall, not easy to digest.

Founder’s Story

Founded in 2022 by Shannon Ranger, Grey Seal Beauty™ is concept beauty store to help reduce the amount of confusion when it comes to shopping for products to help put your best face forward.
 
Having over 2 decades of experience in the beauty industry as a professional and highly sought after makeup artist, Shannon has seen it all when it comes to beauty product launches, targeted beauty ads, confusing routines and the false hopes that come with all of that. A beauty product that will change your life is extremely hard to come by. That's where we come in, and we like to keep it simple. 
 

The Name

What does Grey Seal Beauty even mean?
We're glad you asked. There's two parts to it. Since there's intention in everything that we do, and our name is no different. 
First, our original mantra was "Beauty isn't black and white; it's all shades of grey", which we still love because it is so true.
And secondly, remember how we said that we are bringing you a carefully curated collection of beauty products from brands who do it right? Well, all of those receive our "seal of approval" - tried and true, and not a product that is effectively duplicated anywhere.
